Marybeth, Glad you said something, or I was. There have been a couple of unwarranted postings here recently, and I've been sort of unclear as to the reasoning. This message board is a nice way to make "friends" and talk about our children and give an account of our experiences with them. It is unfortunate that some have more or continuing problems that are not easily solved, however there are several people that persevere and try to "make it through it". In additon to those, I'm sure there are maybe HUNDREDS of people that visit this site that do not post, but just read in the name of trying to find another with their same issues. This board is a good one. Lets all of us try and keep it that way. : One of the things that I really like about this message board is that most of the folks who post here do so with the intention of helping and supporting one another. We share information, talk about our experiences, successes, failures.... it's a place to vent, commiserate, celebrate, and share. Mostly, this is done in a non-judgmental environment. We all have our own THING - maybe it's something that bugs others, but we try to be accepting and tolerant of one another's different personalities as well as cultural and religious beliefs, and create an environment that is friendly and conducive to open communication. : For many of us, superstition has some deep cultural and religious roots, and telling someone to "just stop it" isn't going to effect a change. : I do hope that we can continue in the tradition that has been established here. And do feel free to use a first name when you post a message - it helps to create and maintain some familiarity. : Thanks!
