Another Toddler Question regarding Fear of Water

Hi again,

I've got lots of questions today!!!

Again, my 2 1/2 year old daughter is petrified of water. Getting her to take a bath is like warfare. She liked water as an infant, but once she began walking (14 mos.) she started to freak out. It began with hair washing, and has progressed.

I STILL have to bathe her in the kitchen sink (lucky for me it's big).

I've tried tub toys, songs, having her help wash, tub books, a bath ring, a mini blow up tub that sits in the big tub, a visor hat for hair washing (in case she was afraid of water in her eyes) but she just screams and screams and screams as soon as I begin to talk about a bath.

Anyone w/any similar experiences? How did you handle it. I thought it was a phase, but it doesnt seem to be ending anytime soon......she's to old for the kitchen sink!!!!!
