hi all,
just curious - when did your children begin to be more alert or awake during the daytime hours? my 9week old is still resisting his awake time during the day. i have tried (what i think) is everything..we read, we look out the windows, we have tummy-time, we watch the babyeinstein videos etc... but i can't seem to keep him awake for more that an about 1.5 hrs after he eats...but that is only because i am pestering him to death!!! if i go to run errands or go to the mall, forget it- he is out like a light in the car and in the stroller. (he does sleep well at night..getting up only once around 3-4am and for the past 2 nights slept from 10pm-7am)
i guess i am just wondering when he will begin to be curious enough discover the world on his own? (does that make any sense?)

thanks!!!
jennifer
