Funny that you mention this! My husband ask Hana that question almost every night and she just smiles at him. Sometimes I think that even they can't talk they can understand us :) The night you just described has become normal for us. If Hana stays awake for 1.5 hrs that is a good night for us. I do enjoy rocking her while she is singing :)( does this a lot when wants to sleep) but I too, often wonder why she wants to play in the middle of the night and not sleep like everybody else! Since she does not cry when she wakes up we do not even know if she is hungry or not. So last night we gave her a bottle when she woke up for the first time ( 1:30) and she did finally fall asleep around 3 and slept till 8 30! Hopefully they will outgrow this soon. Good luck! : So, Hannah woke up at about 3:30am to feed, and wouldn't go back to sleep until about 5am. While we were trying to get her back to sleep, I was thinking. Don't you just they could remember these nights at least until they can talk? Then you could ask what precisely the problem was! Hannah's been doing better lately (generally waking up around midnight or 1am for no reason and going back down easily, then waking up around 3am for a feeding) but this one threw us for a loop. We couldn't figure out WHAT her problem was. I kept trying to ask her what was up, but amazingly she wouldn't answer me! ;)
