Hi Marie! Congratulations on the birth of your little one. I know that you are not the only one that has been through this - I, personally, dreaded outdoor trips in the beginning for fear that Olivia would cry hysterically etc. Remember this: Your baby isn't the only one that will cry - all the mothers' out there (and fathers') have experienced this and no on will judge you based on what your baby does!!!!! First and foremost, I would suggest picking up a copy of "The Baby Whisperer" it will change your perception and really assist you with a schedule that works well for you and your baby. Second, getting your baby on a schedule that works for both of you won't be too difficult. Currently your baby should be eating every 3-4 hours depending - somedays will be more (growth spurts!) Plan your day one nap in advance for instance: Baby awakes, is fed, changed and then has some playtime. When your baby goes down for a nap that is when you should get yourself ready that way when the next "round" comes you can feed your baby, change him and then leave the house. You will know that he is fed and changed (two major reasons for crying) and you can relax a little once you step outside. I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions just ask!
