: is it true that if kids that watch tv alot have behavior problems?

I am kind of torn on the subject of what effects some shows on kids. My cousin watched Blues Clues and Teletubbies, and sesame street all day until she was 4. Now her dad lets her watch wrestling with him and she hit the dog over the head with a chair. I think in this case, it effected her behavior. MY son watches public television all day. We're talking, Sesame Street, Calliou, Mr Rogers, Teletubbies, Jay-jay the Jet plane- ALL day, or no TV at all. (It's only during his naps that I switch it over to Dr. Phil or something.) and despite this, he still gets very defiant, aggressive, and mis-behaves at times. I think it depends on a lot of things. Take Care.--------------------Jamie
