Like many of you, I’ve been lurking about for the last few days, opting to stay silent with the thought that lending my commentary would only give more energy to the negative thread that has developed of late. But, reading today’s posts has compelled me to speak, and to take action. Normally, I’m not a fan of big-brother censorship. However, in the case of “Concerned about this board” I’m willing to make exception. So, “Concerned”, sorry to stick a pin in your plan to go back to posting messages under your real name, but, as you can see by the elimination of some previous messages, this is a moderated message board, and considering that you have offended the majority of the members on more than one occasion, I have sent a request to the folks at Baby-Place to disallow you, through the detection of your I.S. location, from future participation here. It can, and I trust, will be done. I’ve come to the conclusion that message boards are good places to begin new friendships, but terrible places to carry them out. I’ve been fortunate to make many new friends through this message board, (Debbie, Rowena, Mia to name a few…) and I look forward to furthering those friendships through more personal / less public means. To the rest of you, thank you again for your advice, empathy and support. My best to all of you and your families for the holiday season and throughout the new year! MB
