Have you tried Nutrigrain bars? They are very soft and can be bit off in small bites and they also kind of mash in the mouth so he wouldn't have to chew necessarily. They are about 100 calories a bar and they are fortified w/7 or 10 (I forget) essential vitamins and minerals. They come in assorted flavors which might entice him....I had super luck with both of my kids who have feeding issues with these bars. Good Luck. : hello, my son is 15 months old and i was wondering if anyone may have some food ideas for me. he is allergic to milk, eggs, and peanut butter. everytime i go to the grocery store i am looking for things to feed him THAT HAVE CALORIES and never really find anything good. he has feeding problems so we are limited. he can handle a cracker but because of the reflux he hasen't developed a efficient chew and swallow yet. this is because every time he was given anything with texture he would gag and vomit. but we are working on that. so any suggestions that may help me spark his interest. it dosen;t have to be pured but it does have to be soft in nature so that he can actually chew it and swallow without any real difficulty. also it does need to have calories so that he is getting what he needs. thanks for any suggestions
