It sounds like you need to be feeding him more! You need to make sure he still gets plenty of formula during the day - it has all of the vitamins he needs. Solid food won't provide everything he needs. When my daughter was 5 months old, she was eating an entire (small) jar of baby food plus infant cereal. She ate 2-3 "meals" per day in addition to formula. Brayden will let you know if he's had enough or if he's still hungry. A tablespoon doesn't seem like very much at all. If you have questions about how much he should be eating, ask his pediatrician at his next well baby appointment. : Thanks for your help everyone!!

: Here I am with another question.... I am not sure if I am feeding Brayden enough. I started solid foods about 4.5 months. I fed him cereal in the am for about 2 weeks until I introduced sweet potatoes to him. Now he eats in the am and pm. I was giving him about a teaspoon and a half but he wanted more. We jumped right to a tablespoon and now he eats a tablespoon plus some. He doesn't like his bottle anymore when he expects food. It's a hassle to give him 3 oz (which I get him to eat before the solid foods). He usually eats 6 oz. of formula 3 times a day and, 3 oz of formula 2 times a day with the solids. (24 oz of formula day) He wants to eat more solid food but I stop at about a tablespoon and a half b/c I think it might be too much. What does everyone else feed their babies?
