I like the name Mackenzie. I had thought about naming my daughter Kenzie. I also have a cousin named Makki(girl), which I think is original. I wouldn't think too much of what others say. I ended up naming my daughter Maddie(Madelyn. My mother-in-law even told me 'don't name her that, I don't like it' when she saw it written on our list of names my husband and I liked. It fits her and WE like it.
