Lower back pain in early pregnancy

Good Afternoon Ladies~

I am only about 5 weeks along and I'm experiencing throbbing pains in my lower (very low) back. I began to worry that it was my kidneys so I beefed up on water. Anyone experience this during early pregnancy? They are not stabbing pains, but they have been continual this afternoon--it's more annoying than anything, but I just thought I'd check. Thanks!
