Clomid does not cause ovarian cancer. Whoever said that originally is wrong. In fact, women who do not ovulate are at a higher risk for ovarian cancer b/c their follicles are being reabsorbed month after month into their bodies. That causes a higher rate of ovarian cancer. Annovulatory women who are on clomid are actually helping themselves b/c they are now ovulating.
Clomid has been around since the 60's. There are NO studies to show that it causes cancer - or anything horrible like that.
I DID NOT have to sign anything when being put on clomid. In fact, I talked extensively with my reproductive endocrinologist and did a lot of research. It IS SAFE!!! Dawn
