Jamie, congrats on coming to a decision you are happy with! I'm young too, only 20, but I started nursing school, this is how I know about the test.
I wan't happy with my last doctor, so I switched to a midwife, and they are great! It's a practice with 4 midwives, and 2 docs, and I love it! Maybe shop around for someone you feel more comfortable with. I am a childbirth advocate, I work as a doula (childbirth assistant) so it's my job to research tests in pregnancy to help my clients make wise choces about whether or not to get the test done. I'm glad you are content with your chocie, and didn't get the test. I'm sure your baby is happy and healthy! Best wishes!
