My abdomen is tender now but it was not a first sign for me. I'd think it'd be sore lower than your belly button for you if you aren't far along. Mine is between my hipp bones right now, and I'm 10-11 weeks. I could be wrong. Just don't read too much into it and if it starts hurting without preasure you might want to see a doc for a deffinate answer. best wishes, Meagan
