Hey Lisa, I am from the UK also but I moved to the US two years ago - I miss home! :) By the way, I would write but not expect much to come out of it, knowing the hopsitals in the UK, patient care is not their highest priority. If this had happened in the US, the mother could have sued the hospital and eventually get something (if at least an appology) out of it. But in the UK since most health care is free, they give you what they can and hope no one will complaint. My sister had surgery once and she had the same problems with rude nurses and waiting hours to be helped, I don't think you are the only one. What hospital did you go to?
