Good point about the Megan O, Megan W, etc. I, fortunately, (for some odd reason) was the only Emily in my class From kindergarten through college. I found it pretty hard to believe, but I don't think the name Emily was really popular until several years ago, then it seemed to make a big come-back. :) Now we're everywhere. lol
As far as names I like, I like Emily (but would never name my child after myself...I think that would get sort of confusing, esp. when she got to be high school age and friends called for her :), Rebekah, Jane, Lindsey, Meghan (That's actually one I'm considering if we have a girl :), Sarah, Helen, Catherine, and Elizabeth.
The Holly Wood thing is actually pretty funny. My mom remarried when I was 10 and my sister was 14, and our step dad wanted to adopt us. My sister's name is Jennifer (but her nick name is Holly, and 90% of people call her Holly) and our step dad's last name is Wood. Can you imagine...!
Keep us posted on the other names you pick out. I hope I didn't seem harsh about the Chartreuce...I didn't mean to be. :)
