Afp and amnios are 2 different tests! Jamie, what you cancelled was the amnio(where they would have stuck a needle in your belly). And with amnio there's a little chance of false positives. But with amnios, there is also a chance of miscarraige. It's good you choose not to do it. With the afp, all they do is take some blood. There is a high chance of false positives with this test. But there's no risk of miscarraige with the afp. Just wanted to clear that up b/c it seemed as if you thought the afp and amnio tests were the same thing from your's and Tori's conversation below.
