I just wanted to ask you about your endometriosis and maybe get your expertise on a situation from this year. I have an acquaintance (from my college years)who had it terribly for years. Last year her doctor said it reached a point to where she either had to have a hysterectomy or have a baby. She had to make a decision right then on whether to have children of her own, or not. With no husband and no prospect of future husband this was a very difficult decision. She opted to have the baby and they did invetro. She conceived on the first try and had her baby girl I believe last Spring.
Anyway, I was just shocked to hear this whole story and wondered if you had heard of anything like it. Her having a baby is supposedly supposed to help "fix" her endometriosis. She's a bit younger than I (I want to say in her late 20s, maybe). Any info. you could provide would be helpful. Thanks!
