: : How are you doing? How's your little boy?

: Hi, Sue! How are you guys doing? My little guy is great. He's sleeping right now. He slept 5 hrs. last night. I try to get him up regularly during the day, though. Today he stayed up for more than an hour and we sang "Disney Sing-Along Songs" and read a book. It was great.

: I'm feeling okay. A lot of "afterpains" last night. God, did they hurt! I guess my uterus is shrinking back down to size. It's better today, plus I walked for a full 15 minutes today...the longest I've walked since the birth & the SPD diagnosis.

: How about you? What's new over there?

: Mels

We watch the Wiggles and I sing the songs to him.
I like to read to him but he's in the phase were ripping pages is fun so we had to put the books away for a while.
I remember when Charlie was just home from the hospital. He slept very well during the day but was up every 1 hr and 1/2 at night to eat. We used to keep a log of when he got up and what we did with him. Mainly because we were sleeping in shifts and wouldn't know the last time the baby had been up. We found it the other day and started laughing, we did not sleep much the first month. And still joke about how many times we saw the sunrise when he was an infant. It just goes by so fast. Charlie right now has a bad cold and cough and we shuffled him off to the drs. He should be better in a week or so. I hope so, he's not sleeping well and I'm ready to collapse from exhaustion.
I'm glad your doing well and are feeling better. I found the contractions while breastfeeding to be really uncomfortable. It's a strange slightly painful feeling. It should subside in a few weeks. And I read your post about DH. My hubby was the same way. He is such a good man and a good Dad and Charlie just lights up when he comes in the room. I imagine they are going to be good buddies when Charlie gets older. My husband is so patient and attentive to the baby. I guess his inner girl is coming through. I didn't know what to expect, he seemed indifferent to my pregnancy but he fell in love with our son the minute he laid eyes on him. He even keeps a picture of him on his dashboard, there all over his shop were he works. He brags to everyone about his boy. Geez, I never got billing like that when we were dating. But I'm glad that I could make him a Dad. Well I'd better run. Were closing down my company at the end of August and I've got work coming from every direction. Take Care.

Sue
