Hi folks,
Last week I was doing a half day first aid course. One of my friends every day would Rub my belly and talk to the baby. No prob she's a friend. Anyway, The instructor said Oh you musnt ryb the belly you should pat it. He couldnt say why. Then the next day he said the same thing and said that it causes premature labour or something. I didnt beleive it I still dont. I mean after all how else do you batheetc. I rub my belly and so does Dh and have no intention of listening to him. But what felt folish is that he was so adamant and loud and authoritative on it. And seeing that he IS the FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR I felt like if every one in the class was believing him. Even on the last day he said now remember dont let any one rub.. pat. I dont know what makes everyone feel they are an expert on pregnancy. However if there is truth in this tell me folks.
