I think homebirths are great i wished i had one. as long theres no health risks i dont see a problem. there are the possible risks but ask a midwife and they should let you know if you can have a homebirth, i dont know about the midwife question you asked as im in the UK and we get one soon as we find out we are pregnant Good luck :o)
