I really don't know if I will qualify, I have some phone calls to make to find out how it works in MI... I know based on just my husbands salary it looks like I don't, but I would think they would have to take your debt to income ratio into that decision. There is simply no way we can afford private insurance, plus now that I'm already pregnant it would be very difficult to find anyone who would even cover the birth etc. I'm sure it'll all work out, I refuse to let myself get stressed :)

: If worse comes to worse would you qualify for public assistance at least just for insurane on you and the baby? That may not be the route you would like to go, but at least you would be covered. And you wouldnt have to worry, which isnt good for you right now. I know in New York State they have insurance for just babies and kids that you get at a reduced (very reduced) for little ones. Private insurance is very expensive.
