Can 10 hpt be wrong?

I have not had a real period since may 14th. On june 9-11th I had some spotting when I wiped. I ahve taken like 10 or more hpt and they all have been neg. Could I preggo? I don't have insurance so I don't want to go to the dr unless I have too. I do not have any symptons, just no period. please help.
