How could you say that. I have been trying to conceive for 3 1/2 years, but how could you ever wish a child, or anyone for that matter to die. I read what you wrote to Melinda. If you really love children enough that you want to have your own, then you would never want one to die for selfish reasons. Life isn't fair. Bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people. Some people conceive with the greatest of ease and others take a while or can't conceive at all. But under no circumstance do you, or I or any one else have the right to wish a baby death because of our own anguish about not being able to conceive. I am sorry if this sounds harsh, but someone needed to say it.
