When I was what I thought was 3 days late for my period I took a dollar store test and it came up positive. It had one dark line and one really light line. I just had an ultrasound and I was actually 2 weeks late for my period so you really should wait til you are about a week late at least for your period. My symptoms came early, my first was my boobs really hurt bad! I was tired all the time, and I would cry over little things. Those were my only symptoms until I took a test and it came up positive, that's when the bad nausea and vomiting came. I have a 20 month old daughter so I knew what to expect. I would wait another week and take another test. Good Luck! And Congratulations if you are! :)
