I used the "Clear Blue Plan" and the box has all the instructions. You have to know the lenght of your cycle (ex. 28 days, 30 days etc.), the box will tell you, according to your cycle, lenght when to start testing. They count the first day of your period as day 1. So if you have a 28 day cycle and the box says to start testing on day 10, you start counting as soon as you get your period. Once you hit day 10, all you do is test (in the afternoon, NOT morning urine) and wait for a surge. My test had 2 lines, the control line and the test line. When the test line is darker or the same color as the control line, it is considered a surge - which means ovulation would occur within 12-36 hours. So husband and I made love (so sperm would be there waiting for the egg) and I conceived the first month using OPK.
